NH had a bad storm on Sunday, we lost the power that night, it is finally back on now. We got a standby generator installed when we moved into the house in June, but apparently it has a factory error so it didn't work. Luckily, the electrician was nice enough to give us a small portable generator for the fridge and water when we called the morning after we lost power. Unfortunately, the portable generator stopped working this afternoon. When the power came back on, the water (and radiators) and fridge still didn't work because they were rerouted to the generator. The irony. Anyways, at least everything else is back on. I hope any members nearby made through it ok! I know that I am completely exhausted from the event.

Glad you're ok. They got it on pretty quickly. Guys are here trimming trees in anticipation of snows to come. They do it every five years. This is our year. Isabell was the worst here, worse than Sandy. Lost 7 trees. Power was out 5 days and I didn't have a generator.
