227 down to 198 now, no diet just cutting down on sugar, saturated fat and alcohol. And walking more.

I'm down 13 pounds to 284 since the first of the year. I was sick for a week though and barely ate or drank. Hopefully I'll be going back to work next week, so that will help a bunch too. Blood pressure hovers around 130-140/ 90-100 for the most part. One day I'll get to a doctor and get some meds... maybe. When I can find one that lets me pay "out of pocket" that is.

Good going, Hopefully you can get the pressure down to go without meds!!.. That is my goal to keep up the no need for meds. hate the thought.

I'm gonna have to buckle down the rest of the week. I took fat tuesday a little too literally... 3 lbs of crawfish. At least it was protein I suppose.... haha

never had crawfish but would jump through hoops for......smelts ..nothing tastes like a smelt.. anyway..five years ago i was 215 at 5'8" and a bp of two hundred over one hundred and a death defying case of A-fib . i was giving up. this was too hard living like this..and the word diet made me cringe...i had some real soul searching to do ...why was i like this? I did it to myself . closest i can figure is I wasn't happy with me , I didn't like myself . there is only one person you have to please YOU COME FIRST if you don't love yourself how could possibly love anything else ? just facing the facts and the desire to change .. th'ing helps too , th'ers never give up when they want to find , they do they are hard headed and we all know Th'ers are cool dudes ...

I have been training with a Krav Maga instructor once a week for the last month, so I'm pretty happy that I'm converting some of that fat into muscle. Honestly, I have old, sore, muscles I never knew I had!
