We got nailed today by Quinn. It started out this morning like an overblown Weather Channel Armigeddon. I even went to lunch with my daughter at noon because her company closed for the day, yet the roads were bare! It wasn’t until I paid the bill that it really took a mean turn. It was snowing like the end of days. And then we lost our favorite tree in the front of the house ( a gift from friends after my wife’s father passed 12 years ago) due to heavy snow/saturated soil from endless rains, and then the power went out.

So I’m sitting in front of the wood stove, no power, wife asleep on the couch, and my cat on my lap. Probably the calmest moments I’ve had in a long time. Go figure!

Be careful up there! 😱 Warmer days ARE coming...regardless of what Jim Cantore says!
