0815181513-00.jpg a couple weeks ago I found this. this has a red back. but I have one with a blue back, also have one with an orange back. anyone know what the different colors mean ? also how to tell how old they are ? wondering if they might have collector value ? thanks

The different colors represent ranks in the den. Not sure about the gold crown.

Seventy some years ago I had one similar to that. 'tis a pity what we do NOT save from our childhood.

Lucky me I'm a hoarder.

Dug out my Weblos book circa '67. Nothing on the crown.

Very curious that they would use a gold crown for BSA. I'll wager there are very few of those. May I ask where you found it?

where I found it ? no you may not ask. this has to remain a secret now. cuz this may be a one of a kind item only awarded to maybe a prince or even king of boy scouts ? heh ? maybe ?
