hello, i live in a large farming area and i have decided to start asking permission for farms once all the crops have been dug up. I know that all the coins will be dug up for me - which means some indians or silver to end my 2 month slump.

I want to know where i should concentrate on the field.

Once you get permission and talking with the farmers, ask if there's certain areas of the fields where they've noticed debris---pieces of concrete, brick shards, pieces of pottery or glass, etc. He may also have noticed parts of foundations adjacent to an old tree stump. Well, you get the idea.

check out old maps at your library or historical society..look for the old schools and churches or houses...this will save a lot of time and effort when trying to find sites....
