Can I put mt Ace 250 coil on my GTA 1000 PM? Will it hurt anything? Thanks. I have a Hot Head coil on the GTA 1000 PM now, does anybody know if this coil is any good?

No, the coil on the GTA 1000 is so big that it is more difficult to use.

In that case it would probably be a rewiring job which I personally wouldn't tackle unless I knew exactly what I was doing. Bearing this in mind you would compare wires google the schematics if you have no luck I guess you could cut both cables compare wires both in number and colors connect like to like tape back up or maybe get a plug converter if this is possible. Like I say the dangers are obvious two broken search coils and or 1 blown machine You could email Garrett's directly they should be able to help you
