augoldminer I too use CPAP and I now use a Zero Water picture to fill my humidifier up with, but I fill another plastic container with it so I don't have to do it that often. It's good to use for car batteries too. I don't know if they still supply a TDS meter with them, but I advise checking your water with one every now and then to be sure the filter isn't going bad. Don't use Brita as that doesn't filter out anywhere near enough.

Tis funny how many people think freezing bread is "taboo"... we freeze bread here as well... learned that from grandma.

I read in South Korea, 96% of all tests came back negative. Tests are only worth so much. Flu season is also starting to end. Allergy season is coming.

Those are the sort of results to be expected when testing is done on the general population. It shows the difference between testing for political reasons vs public health policy. South Korea is, so far, doing it right. Here, we are testing people who are showing symptoms - which is too little and too late. Many, if not most people who have been exposed to those testing positive are not being tested. Are we closing the barn door after the horses have left?

I buy a three pack of Lysol... which lasts well over a year... mainly spray trash cans down once in awhile so it lasts this long before re-upping.

won't get a ride to the store till Sunday and the shelves are going empty here.
so not sure what will be left for a Picky Eater like me except chips & Candy till next months trip

I have been in only one line (thursday afternoon) and did exactly that, which led to a chain reaction of conversations. Most people knew someone who tested positive. My son is a first responder and there are four members of his shift who have tested positive. At the time, the state was reporting three positive cases for the entire state. Are states keeping the numbers low so they don't offend someone with the power to withhold federal aid to localities?

When we see the long lines, it may appear to be irrational behavior, or an over-reaction at first, but there may be valid concerns that cause people to risk further exposure.
