augoldminer I too use CPAP and I now use a Zero Water picture to fill my humidifier up with, but I fill another plastic container with it so I don't have to do it that often. It's good to use for car batteries too. I don't know if they still supply a TDS meter with them, but I advise checking your water with one every now and then to be sure the filter isn't going bad. Don't use Brita as that doesn't filter out anywhere near enough.

though not the thing to do if your worried about quality. freezing supposedly takes something away :tongue3:

I always buy 2 two 3 loafs of bread and freeze 2.

It still Works Like Bread when ya thaw it.

Tis funny how many people think freezing bread is "taboo"... we freeze bread here as well... learned that from grandma.

Oh... and I don't think the "freezing" does anything as far as "viruses" ...

For Mt Everest even shut down due to virus concerns. heh

I read in South Korea, 96% of all tests came back negative. Tests are only worth so much. Flu season is also starting to end. Allergy season is coming.

Those are the sort of results to be expected when testing is done on the general population. It shows the difference between testing for political reasons vs public health policy. South Korea is, so far, doing it right. Here, we are testing people who are showing symptoms - which is too little and too late. Many, if not most people who have been exposed to those testing positive are not being tested. Are we closing the barn door after the horses have left?

If you do not believe that they have already known about Corona virus for at least a year or more... check it.

I buy products from Sams Club in bulk...

I buy a three pack of Lysol... which lasts well over a year... mainly spray trash cans down once in awhile so it lasts this long before re-upping.

Corona is listed on back.

They have canceled everything here... even the Grand Prix which is huge event here... they canceled the spectators and the race will go on after all drivers and crew are tested.

Disneyworld and on down... closing their doors.

Also... heard the Casino's have installed thermal devices / cameras on the entrances and if you have a temp of 100.4... you are asked to leave.

Interesting use of technology and its application in a crisis. Of course, 98.6 is an average and "normal" can be slightly higher or lower than 98.6. This reptile's normal body temp is 96.8. But there are very few folks with normal body temps of 100.4.

Yes but is it C-19 or just the family of coronaviruses in general? I thought this specific C-19 was new while the family has been known.

No gambling for you !

I bet... that if it was shown that people with a slight fever were shown in studies to spend more money overall... they would let em in :P

yeah... um... I got nothing for this. heh

I mean wtf... with all the "great minds" involved in the virus "game" WHO know how this whole thing works on the mutational levels... to not have "insight" errr OR foresight rather into this is almost ... um... lame.

when I have a car I don't of Course. just got word I
won't get a ride to the store till Sunday and the shelves are going empty here.
so not sure what will be left for a Picky Eater like me except chips & Candy till next months trip

If you do get stuck in line, ask the people around you how many people they know who have tested positive. I have been in only one line (thursday afternoon) and did exactly that, which led to a chain reaction of conversations. Most people knew someone who tested positive. My son is a first responder and there are four members of his shift who have tested positive. At the time, the state was reporting three positive cases for the entire state. Are states keeping the numbers low so they don't offend someone with the power to withhold federal aid to localities?

When we see the long lines, it may appear to be irrational behavior, or an over-reaction at first, but there may be valid concerns that cause people to risk further exposure.

Haha, it is hard to believe that a casino would turn anyone away. But it is a very interesting application of thermal imaging.

The single register may not move faster, but it could do wonders for increasing your "social distance".

Whilst standing in line... say loudly - "I should have stocked up before quarantining".

:)
