Hey fellow hunters. I'm new to the hobby and was looking for local hunters who be willing to let me hunt with them and maybe get a few pointers. I'm in north west Jersey. If theres anyone out there give me shout. Let's chat. I don't mind traveling

Can't partner up as I live on the west coast, but with that said, welcome from San Jose, CA!

Maybe if San Jose ever makes it down to Pismo Beach we can get together. As for New Jersey, man I hope you got a fast plane if we were to ever get together.

Kind of a long commute for me, coming from Illinois, but welcome to the forum and finding some hunting partners.

I'm near Montague. I don't think you're far. Interested in all detecting.

Yes s Montague is very near to me. Send me a pm if you want. My detecting time is somewhat limited and I almost always detect alone but we can see if something can be arranged.

I'm from NE New Jersey, myself. You have a lot more untouched history to work with out west, so you should have an easy time. If you don't read Weird NJ, I would recommend you get one of their books or a few of their magazines. They have all kinds of worthwhile sites in there. As a good starting place, you check out a place called Hillside Park in Andover. It was previously known as Camp Nordland.
