What detector to get for Florida beach hunting for grandkids 6-10 years old.

I hunt with a Minelab Excal in the water and a 800 on the beach and would like to bring grandkids on the beach hunts. I know Minelab has the Vanquish, is there a better detector for young hunters 6 to 10 but growing older each year?
