I use the same thing...A two pocket nail apron. Usually about a buck at your local home store. Some lumber yards still give them away.

I use an old coin sack from a bank that went under,
clip it to my belt with a small carabiner.

i'm a nail apron guy too. one side for junk. one for treasure. i also carry a small container with water. when i get silver or old coins i put them in this container. it keeps them from more damage and from getting lost.

If you have an army surplus store close by go there. You can find about any kind of pouches you could ask for. If you dont go to walmarts get you a green fishing bag. has the big compartment plus lots of small ones with snaps.

We use single compartment leather "nail pouches". All finds go in them...junk & keepers...EXCEPT the silver, rings, etc that have extra value...They go in our jeans pockets.

Wanna see what I got? Lemme dump it out & let's look! ;D ;D ;D ;D

If I'm just hunting parks or schools this is all you need . Trash in small bucket finds in pouch or both.

I had a lady I work with make me a custom pouch. it is 16 inches in total length and 8 inches wide. There is a front pocket on it that is 8 inches deep with a METAL zipper and then the main pouch runs the whole length behind the front pouch.

My keepers go in the front pocket and the other stuff in the back.

It works great!

Metal zippers are the key because plactic zippers just don't hold up to any dirt or hard use.

I can post pictures if you want to see what it looks like.

This is for coins and small things. The GOOD stuff goes elsewhere.
