I have the same scale and it works flawlessly. I got mine at a local smoke shop.

Who is the manufacturer of that unit? I can't find anything about it.

I will say there are a lot of CRAPPY scales flooding in from China (although the good ones are also...shocker...made in China). Some brands to avoid are DigiWeigh, etc.

Personally, I'd stick with a company like My Weigh that has a LONG history of making scales and offers 30 year warranties on every scale they make.

I just bought 4 off of amazon for prizes for a metal detecting club hunt and am REALLY impressed by the quality / size / portability. They could easily be carried in a front shirt pocket.

Go to amazon and look for the My Weigh 400-z. $14.94 plus tax and shipping, but qualifies for free shipping if order is over $25.

Best deal on a quality pocket scale I've seen (and trust me, I've looked).

I appreciate the responses from you all a lot. The first scale I looked at was an Acculab model 400 I believe and it listed for $99.99 from Amos (hobby suppliers for coin collectors, etc.). I like quality, but doggone! $100.00 for a pocket or slightly larger electronic scale? So, I will consider what you have passed on to me and go from there. I've also looked at some scales made by American Weigh as well. Again, Thanx for the scoop!
