Can anyone ID this bottle?

A friend found this bottle where he has been operating a track hoe. He found this bottle near his bucket at bottom of a hole he dug. The inscription on it says "Smile" and along bottom it says "Pat. July 11, 1922, Cont. 2 1/2 Fl. Oz."
Im not sure how to look it up on internet but would love any info on it. It is in perfect condition. Value? Etc. thanks for looking!

Welcome to TNet, and thanks for showing us your friend's bottle. It's the sample size. Worth somewhere in the $15-25 range.

How can you tell it's in perfect condition? It appears packed with dirt, which could mask some problems. You might think of posting it in the Bottles & Glass department, you passed it on your way here...

Oops! Sorry!! I apparently am blind! Lol! And yes, i wear reading glasses!!! Ugh! Guess i need to go see an eye doc!
As far as condition, i FINALLY got it cleaned out and can visibly see that it isn't cracked, chipped or broken in any way! Yay! Lol!
However, i will seek out the appropriate forum. Thanks for your help.
