Earlier this week, I published a website featuring antique demijohns and carboys at
I had a similar site on-line a few years ago, until AOL dropped its FTP space. I've been meaning to put it back up, but hadn't gotten around to it till the past week, or so. When I did undertake the task, I found that the old images were inadequate. There are many new images on the site now.

If you visit The Demijohn Page, please give me some feedback . . . that is, criticism. You will be one of the first visitors, so don't hesitate to point out whatever I missed (or misspelled). Thanks.

Thanks for the photos, since now I know what one looks like.I'll have to check out your site. By the way, what made me click on your post was the fact there is or was a community along the Guadalupe River north of me called Demijohn Bend.It got it's name from the shape of the bottle. The road is still there and you can drive it, but it ends at a ranch.I guess the little community has disappeared.
