I've been looking around for you WT.The colors remind me of fostoria glasses but I havent matched them up yet.The hobnob piece might be a salt.

Hey Chris,

I've never heard this form called "hobnob." Hobnail, yes, that's the term I've always known it by.

It sure looks like a salt, to me.


This was a popular Fenton pattern, amongst others.

I always think of Hobnobs as the biscuits, or hanging with the swells.

Its most likely a area thing surf depending on the state you live in.Ive heard it called both.

Frappes yeah,tonic no,soda yeah lol,then again I dont drink soda anymore.Unless bourbon in ginger :laughing9:ale or vodka and tonic water

Salt? How about an ashtray. That's how one was used when I was growing up. I was interested in the hobnails and how well they gripped the fabric of an upholstered furniture arm.
