Mini-highbanker Riffles question?

I recently built a recirculating mini-highbanker. I got the expanded metal miners moss and the black ribbed mat. But what is the best design for the riffles? If anyone has any measurements or helpful advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Hoosier Hunter...

If its a mini, and the expanded metal is tilted at each perforation, rather than flat, I would leave it at that.... riffles would only hold more waste, and plug up the system more.
