Can't find it now- but there was a discussion on what dredges or "prospectors" take out of a river system.
Wanted to post there, but will here if no one objects.
This was the lead recovered from just 2 hours of concentrates. It was just down stream from a bridge so there was more here than the average stretch of creek- but good grief that was a chore to sort. .45 slugs down to #9 shot- smaller since some had rolled around in boil holes for who knows how long. Even some of the .22 bullets have been ground down to not much more than a pencil lead size. Anyway, That is probably a 1/4 pound so compared to two snaggin weights- not much... I keep it all if it enters the slucie and I have about 1/2 a five gallon bucket now.
Oh- and there was some gold color too- but not much...
