    Yuba Gold

Caught up with Gravelwasher and his wife at a secret spot on the Yuba River. Had a great time and found some good color. Also found a very dark, heavy rock that is very square in shape. It reflects light and is very smooth on most sides. I should have paid more attention in Geology class back in the day!!! Any thoughts?

Hahaahhaaa... just said sucker on it!!! My older boys want to go out with me this Sunday.... not sure where I would take them. They can be the laborers and I will sit on the bucket sluicing!

    Re: Yuba Gold

Nice gold buddy. Been waiting for it to get a bit colder to get out on the South Yuba myself. Up at Purdon and Edwards Crossing there's good gold but it's really packed with drunk college kids on a hot day. Have trouble concentrating on my panning when there's half naked women running around!
