Tips for dry washing

Loooove to dry wash... Just want to get much better. Bought a few books by Jim, but my trouble is always finding that place to put the shovel. I go to the Mojave often near randsburg.
You guys have any sacred tips on finding a place to dig, other than sampling and looking for mineralized dirt.

Watch the movie Holes repeatedly. Just kidding

I've only been out a few times but had some luck at Goler gulch. the existing diggins will be a guide to where the paystreaks are.

Watch out for any hole there, and there's a lot if them! Yes, gonna try filer cultch for sure.. Never really see anyone there anymore. At least the half dozen times I have been there.

Have you ever prospected past the make shift shooting range where that abounded miner house is?
