First Ever Picker

Day 1
The wife and 2 kids went out to Coker Creek today for some gold hunting... We dug and dug....nothing, moved down stream still nothing then right before we left I wanted to go back and finish my hole from before... First pan and there it was ... My first huge picker... My son was so excited... Me too... Now I just got to get my camera working to show y'all... Can't wait to go back

I found my 1st. picker in a old tree branch, the root was like a bowl, full of dirt
so I figured what the heck...an there it was

Awesome! The only one's that big that I've found were split shot lead sinkers. Keep up the good work, and it's great that you're getting your kids into it!

It's Good you take the Family while you can.
If I ask the kids (23 & 25) to go camping with me they ask "Are you bringing shovels?"
They don't go anymore.
But the Wife will, if I take the Coach.

This is my first picker of the year.
Got it Friday.
I have only been able to go mining 4 times this year.
SG EF Heaton Flats, west side, down 3'to 4'
