Gold prospecting MN/WI

Was wondering if anyone else has ever prospected in mn/wi ive been doing alot of research on some very interesting areas

Hey there! I'm in MN and have done a little prospecting around the state. Most of what we find around here is very very fine to flour gold and from what I've seen so far, not in very high concentrations, and mostly coming out of glacial till deposits.

After prospecting in several different areas of the state and coming up with very little gold for the amount of work that goes into it, I've shifted my priorities to planning more Black Hills trips....but that's just me!

I've prospected a little of both mn and wi, which areas look interesting to you? last few times I was out I found gold in the metro area....I couldn't believe it!
