I generally use a 10" Eliptical unless I am going for bigger, deeper gold. In that case I use a PI machine with a 14" coil.

My GB II I often run my 6" cooil if I'm in an area with lots of teeny specks. also gets in between the rocks nice. 10" is a great all arounder. Same on my Whites GM II. Also have 14" coils thatI can run in wide open country where I think tere might be something big & deep.
If I could only have one coil it would be the 10", but in my country the 6" would be hot on its tail.
