Upstate NY creek

I live in duanesbueg NY, upstate bout 20miles SW of Albany. Normanskil Creek is in my backyard, What's the chances there is gold in this creek?

Very slim, you may find a few flakes but it may not be worth the trip out there. Although you could bring your detector so of you aren't finding gold you could detect a little.
