I just read about a place called bearfoot gold camp has any body been there or heard anything about it not much on Internet that I have found

Bearfoot is no longer in operation. They had a nice website that I followed. It was privately owned land that the owners were trying to make a go of it. They had work parties and a primitive campground. I believe it was between Carthage and Mt. Pleasant or pleasantville. can't remember for sure. They would have a group meal on the weekends and have a mighty fine time telling stories and drinking a few cold ones.
Some of the folks on the cotton patch site know more than me since they prospected there. You may find more info there.

Thanks I didn't know if it was open or not but that answers it
