need help...

Hello all im new to prospecting but im giving it a go...so far i have found nothing but frustration.
i have tried crevicing in bedrock,paning, and sluicing..I have been working bedrock on the side of a
creek-stream..crevicing in the cracks today working this redish clay with quarts in it but still nothing...anyhow any tips would be great..

Hi poptop and welcome to the net. First off are you in a place where gold has been found before? If gold has never been found there before you aren't going to find any either. Second, Connecticut does not have any load gold that I am aware of it is glacial gold. Third, join a club. they will help you with the learning curve and help alieviate some of that frustration you mentioned. Here is the GPAA chapter contact in your state. Lester Kemble, Danielson CT 860-228-8037. Also check around for other clubs that maybe aren't GPAA.
