New member ? about Classes

Probably most people know this, but what exactly are the different classes in reference to...land or ? And where can I find a definition of the different types? I tried the internet but my search must be wrong.

If you hunt for "Land usage maps" on the California BLM site you should be able to find one like the one I found for Arizona. It shows where BLM lands are, Forest Service, etc etc etc. ASLD Parcels Included a link to the AZ site so yo know what to look for. Good luck.

There will shortly be a series of "Classes" posted by Clay Diggens that will cover how to research areas to know if you can prospect them, claim them etc as well as how to go about filing a claim. Knowing Clay this is going to be a VERY good series that will teach us all how to do it the right way.

You already know this, I'm sure, mmbrown - the days of wandering around searching for treasure/gold are long gone. These days you have to have experience in research, to avoid trouble.
