I stumbled upon a nugget this morning.

I was at the ICMJ.com site to sign up for a subscription.

Poking around I found that they were offering a free pdf download of their first-ever copy, August 1931.

(I tried to paste the link here, but I was not successful). So, here goes the long method:

Go to >>> ICMJ.com

Click on >>> The Magazine

Click on >>> Back Issues

Click on >>> Browse By Year -- at the bottom of the dropdown click on: "1931"

Click on >>> View our table of contents here

Click on >>> Click here to download a copy

Just something to keep you folks busy with all sorts of weather going on!

... originally 20 cents! But we get it for free. I love old stuff.

Very fun to read, thanks! Fascinating to see the state and county govt officials being so supportive of mining back then...if only!

To new readers, you will initially see a price of $6 but click thru as that charge is only for a paper version, the PDF is free.
