Met up with T-Net friend Alewis and introduced him to my creek spot last Saturday. I had two good looking areas in mind to dig so I got busy with one and Alewis went to work on the other. Before we got started I told him to keep an eye out on his sluice plate for possible pickers..
Was about 95 degrees out but didn't seem to slow us down any. We both moved a good amount of material and had an awesome day! I ended up with a good bunch of smaller stuff and one little picker, maybe .6 or so of a gram but not sure... I added the take to the next days take for a two day total... Alewis ended up taking home some good color too, Im almost sure he would be happy to share his Saturday finds!..
Was lucky enough to get back out to the same spot on Sunday to meet with good buddy Aufisher and Goldenmojo for another day of gold n good times. AU and Mojo found a couple nice looking good sized cracks and worked em out well. Not sure on they're total take?.. But they're pan was looking bright and full of good color at clean up time
I ended up finishing the hole that Alewis started the day before. I was scraping bedrock and happened to notice a chunky little nugget looking me straight in the eye!, it ended up weighing in at 1.25grms!!.. my best piece ever!
End of day was near, had just cleaned up the bottom of the hole on bedrock with my homemade sucker... Ended up with a about a gallon and a half of smaller material and fed it to my bazooka... AU and I both had the excitement of seeing another thick picker park on the plate for a few seconds before dropping into the trap.. that one ended up weighing .47 of a gram!.. All said and done my Sundays take was just over 2 grams in 6 hours making for my best solo day yet! My total take for Saturday and Sunday combined ended up being 2.8 grams! What an excellent weekend to remember with GREAT friends! Not to mention my wonderful wife's b-day was Saturday and to my surprise she insisted I go out and dig for the day!.. Thanks again for the awesome weekend fellas, i had a total blast and will most definitely be looking forward to next time!
