rock moving toolkit

i'm planning what tools i need for a 6 month gold prospecting trip in CA. beside the obvious (panning kit, sluice box, a hand dredge, probably a Gerret pro pointer AT, ), i'll need some hand tools, like spade and pry tools, what do you think about these? is that enough or any better ideas? i'd like a strong pry bar for moving and splitting big boulders but worry about the weight, i can't think of a light weight alternate, maybe someone knows?

Garage sale snow/cable chains and a come along, work great for moving smaller boulders. Estwing pick, and gad bar. never leave home without the gad bar.

i was planning a come along anyhow in case my van gets stuck and i was thinking it would also make a nice addition to a boulder moving kit if i could get a sling around the boulder. never heard of a gad bar, will look it up, thx

My favorite pry bar is a pike, it's 17lbs.and 6 feet long and it can really move those big rocks.

Never forget the multiplier of a fulcrum as then 10 x the action with a decent crowbar. Keep it simple and light and Harbor Freight,as mentioned,works just fine in most instances-John

This is a skill anyone that plays in the sticks should know. It's called a flip flop winch. If your rope or strap is strong enough and the poles stout enough theres not much you can't move. Beats packing in a winch.
