Take your concerns about the "legalease" jibberish up with the Forest Service. The Act Of God catastrophe FEMA $$$ agency sales pitch presentation was made at a county meeting, the fraud caught by a JMD coordination officer natural resource and fire ecologist. The red area was supposed to trigger mitigation harvesting to class 1 at 10% with the revenue going to local counties.

You cannot deny the extreme low water tables, very low levels of rainfall and lack of snow pack, sorry I don't see very much in any type of management plans by anybody as changing the results. dry is dry

The willfully blind can not see. You impose upon yourself the impossible; to see anything properly.

And the most blind can not deny that if the agencies were harvesting what and as law requires, most forest areas would have less trees sucking up less of the water that is available, and would be in a condition to better weather any drought conditions; The fires that did occur would be way more manageable, not managed to catastrophe class indefensible fires blamed on Act Of God.

Dry maybe dry, but mis-mangagement and lying about that dereliction is criminal.
By giving excuse or agreeing to the mismanagement you become an accessory to felony;
In other words, leaving you up a certain creek without a paddle, Kayakpat.

good news, said they expect a el nino this year and it brings a good chance of bringing heavy rains out west, although it also said California needs 75 inches of rain to bring the dams up to par.

About five years ago here in Western South Dakota we had just come out of a seven year drought similar to California's present drought. After the fifth or sixth year the so called experts from the government said with would take five years of normal rain fall to refill the three major reservoirs that were all only one third of their normal volume. The deepest one being about 60 feet deep. On May 5th of the last year of the drought the region got hit with a two day blizzard the dropped close to 30 inches of very wet snow. Those reservoirs filled right up to normal levels within a month. That storm then changed the weather pattern and we have had normal or above normal rain fall and snow since with the exception of this pass winter. Very dry! Guess what? On May 9th this year we got 20 inches of heavy wet snow and they now have to release extra water out because they are too full and it is causing flooding because we have had rain almost every day. So it doesn't always take very long to get the moisture back.

Five years ago, we had the second highest snowpack ever recorded, but instead of banking the water, we flushed trillions of gallons of water for and non existent fishery, and a smelt that is not native to this state. We have a drought about every seven years, the CVP was built in the 60's to move water around the state to weather a four year drought . PS we have passed a 7.5 BILLION dollar water bond that was supposed to build dams, and now the money is being dispersed to the green facist enviro groups. Not to mention our forrest have not been managed, and a acre that should support 50 trees, are averaging over 400 trees. They are draing the water tables, and are dying from lack of water, and bark beetle infestations. You should really either learn what the facts are, or stop putting your foot in your mouth.. JMHO
