I'm partial to Son's of the Pioneers, Johhny Horton, and Marty Robbins if I'm feeling particularly sassy that day

Just the babbling creek and the breeze rustling through the tall grass and tree branches is good enough for my liking! I don't think I would like to listen to a stereo or headphones while prospecting, I am always on high-alert and a little overly cautious for environuts and animals when I'm out and about, and I think any kind of music would distract me from paying attention to my surroundings.

not on the list of priorities for digging but, in the truck maybe it's the Who..."won't get fooled again"....or "jive talkin' " by the bee gees...or Eric Claptons "pretending"....."Ain't that peculiar" by Marvin Gaye...there are a lot of good songs to listen to on the way to dig..

Nothing. Why ruin your time in the wild with any noise. Well except for the sound of the dredge motor before you get in the water

Great post! I will say this and I am not too experienced but my fovorite melody is the river and my suroundings... maybe some because I usualy go out alone and some to listen for pretoters and curious hikers. working in downtown Sacto. the sound of the river is music to my ears...
Thanks for a great post. Love the songs that folks are posting.
