San Gabriel East Fork flash flood death. We lost one to the gold gods!

It is with a sad heart that I announce that tonight one of our fellow miners was found. He was missing for ten days after our last flash flood. Some members from our prospecting group found him. RIP Sam!
Always remember that the water is more powerful than you are and you will never win in a flash flood. Stay safe out there fellow miners!

I saw Martin a couple weeks ago. A lady friend (Paula?) of his died from a snake bite the same week though.
