Well, I made my 1st find of this new year and it came in the mail today!

I based my guess of the weight of the dime 2.268 g +/- and was WAY off! Gold is heavy!

I tried to kind of do the same thing. Looking at the dime size as about a 1/10 ounce. Then guessing from there with the quartz. I forget what I even came up with now. All I know is that I was way off. :laughing7: Probably good if I was buying that way! Bad selling it that way though!:laughing7:
