Really cool , I've always said I was born a 150 years to late , I could live just as easy of the grid than on it . The only thing I would miss is Tnet !!!!!

Thanks Jeff. The links to the Library of Congress are great! I love historical photographs, and the links to the articles really act like a time machine.

It's great to read about things like that while I'm frozen out from gold mining.

Can you imagine some of those Greenhorns heading out to the deserts around here with no experience John? "Water? What do you mean there's no water?"

At least the guys in the bottom picture were fairly close to the river.
