He makes great maps, though I believe he uses club claims. The best thing to do is go to your local BLM office and do research there...

Many years ago there were counties that made such maps BUT now we are NOT seeing anyone doing there job anymore. BLM records suck,they are a crippled starting point used to go to your local recorder/tax assessor to get info. THEY are not accurate to at least 120 days, so your on your own.John

I used to do a lot of claim research and really got tired of all the time I was spending at the BLM. So I just bought my state's current microfiche( dozens of them) for all claims from the BLM. I then bought a used microfiche reader for $35 and stayed home for my research. Usually the BLM had out of date claim microfiche at a substandial discount.
