Had a decent night at the casino last night so I bought a gold cube trommel! I was coming over to my claim this weekend anyway and my wife found a dealer that was only 8 miles off my course that had one in stock. Looking forward to trying it out tomorrow. Btw I only invested $40 in it.

Well the casino bought my gold bug pro too. No nuggets with it yet. But with this I won't need to classify or bring home a boat load of dirt. Gonna be a fun weekend. Might have to extend it into Monday. Hmm.

Well it works pretty darn good. It was really nice to bring home just the cons. And the recovery is on par with what I was classifying for hours and hours by hand. One thing, it likes a fresh battery. I have a solar panel that I bought at a yard sale a couple of years ago for 10 bucks but I left it at home. That will keep it up there. Mostly the 1100 pump slows down but the trommel motor keeps going at the same pace. Luckily I have a battery charger with me plugged into the generator for tomorrow's adventure.
