Hey Doc --

Wow, you're up early this morning!

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all the great videos you post. I've learned so much from you over the past couple of years, and appreciate how thorough you are in your efforts to educate us, and also in the design of your products and the scientific methodology in testing efficiencies, etc. Thank you!

Can't wait to get back out and run some of that muck.

In GA at least you have very few options and really no other options if you want to run excavated dirt.
(LDMA camp being the only other.)
It's roughly 100 acres, all natural, and no one to bother you.
About 3/4 mile of creeks to work and decent gold for the area.
Also, you can pretty much pull up to the area you plan to run which is nice.
Not a lot of "hauling" equipment.

I know absolutely nothing about what you are doing / panning / highbanking...
So...
This is a novice uneducated in these things post when I say...
It seems that water going down the trough seems really forceful and would in theory "wash out" MOST small particles / gold / gems.

but ? ? ?

I Definitely want to check that place out!! I"m just afraid, I may never want to leave though!:laughing7:

I did check out a few of the hard rock mines. One was up that way. I think It was Consolidated..That was cool! Sad in a way too! They showed us a section, if I remember right was an ounce per ton?(I may have that number off, I tried to double check and can't find it)And they aren't allowed to touch it? so it was turned into a museum...I'm sure you know way more about it, than what I'm describing.:laughing7: I just remember bits and pieces... I wanted to wander off tour and explore!!!! I could spend days at a place like that just looking around checking stuff out! Heck the old equipment sitting around in the weeds would be just as fun to check out. :laughing7:
