I'm thinking of screening at 30 mesh and make a lot of runs in the blue bowl. Leaving the waste in my 5 gallon bucket and then coming back after there is enough to justify rescreening at 50 and 100 for additional runs.
that's what I do.

I know better BUT I still keep forgetting to label each bucket so I know the next on run that this bucket has been already run to a certain mesh. that way Ill know what the status of each bucket out in my shop is ! Right now Ive got 3 buckets of material that I "think" I know its status BUT Ill know when I run it again (and Ill mark it when done) I think!

I got my blue bowl from , the guy who is the maker of the blue bowl, he gave me a 50 mesh and told me to use that for blue bowl. Before that I was using a 30 mesh all the time

Ok so in my above statement I posted incorrect I was formally doing a 50 mesh and was told to use a 30 mesh

I certainly agree that a 30 and a 50 mesh are the two most important classifiers for finish processing. Whether blue bowl, hand panning or miller table...
