Is Nevada prospecting all metal detecting and or dry washing in the Las vegas area? The only gold I've ever got in that city was from the slot machines. But now that my gear has expanded and I have a wider range of tools available to me what is there to do? I don't know if there is any stream sluicing but I'm guessing detecting is pretty popular? Anyone been that can share their experiences.

There is probably more accessible gold in the Kal ,Az and Nev deserts than anywhere. Using a D/W would be to your advantage Goldfleks. The only thing is ,you learn real quick that Dry Washing starts to resemble actual work. M/D ing can be frustrating at first. You'll pick up 100 to 200 bullets before you hit a decent picker. But.. then again you could swerve into patch that might give up an ounce !! If you enjoy what you're doing ,it's not work G/L
