Dear President Trump,

This week we celebrated Law Day and reflected upon our great heritage of liberty, justice, and equal protection under the law; you even signed the Law Day Proclamation. The independent gold miners and prospectors embrace this and the rule of law even though it has routinely been denied to us for the last eight years.

We have been over regulated nearly out of existence across the west and our federal mining rights are materially infringed upon by both state and federal agencies on a regular basis. We are denied equal protection and application of laws and laws are brought upon us that in no way we can satisfy in order to prohibit our non-invasive practices. When we challenge these regulations and laws, justice is often delayed and in many cases denied. One judge in California has even barred the miners from bringing any further actions to the courts even though the agencies continue to add regulations to force us out of existence.

The attacks continue against across the west including the states of California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Alaska. We simply ask for reasonable regulations that are justly applied so we may get back to work. Our requests have costs to implement and allow us to generate new wealth for the nation.
Weekly, you host listening sessions with various groups to make this country more prosperous. The West Coast independent miners and gold prospectors ask you for our opportunity to have a similar listening session so we may get back to work.

I'm going to make a couple slight changes to your letter, and just
like every week I'll be posting it to the .GOV page. Keep this up and
they will have to acknowledge you (us?) sooner or later.

Dear President Trump,

This week we celebrated Law Day and reflected upon our great heritage of liberty, justice, and equal protection under the law; you even signed the Law Day Proclamation. The independent gold miners and prospectors embrace this, and the rule of law, even though it has routinely been denied to us for the last eight years.

Independent gold miners have been regulated nearly out of existence across the Fest, and our federal mining rights are materially infringed upon by both state and federal agencies on a regular basis. We are denied equal protection and application of the law, and new laws are brought upon us we can not satisfy in order to satisfy non-invasive practices required. When we challenge these regulations and laws, justice is often delayed and in many cases denied. One judge in California has even barred the miners from bringing any further actions to the courts, even though the agencies continue to add regulations to force us out of existence.

The attacks continue against across the West, especially in the states of California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Alaska. We simply ask for reasonable regulations that are justly applied so we may get back to work. Our getting back to work means we're investing in new equipment, and our ability to work will generate new wealth for the nation.

Weekly, you host listening sessions with various groups to discuss ways to make America more prosperous. The West Coast independent miners and gold prospectors ask you for our opportunity to have a similar listening session in hopes that we can clear away many of these unnecessary administrative hurdles, and we can get back to work.
