At my claim that is lol. fresh air, Birds singing, River running softly and hell yes came away with some Gold. I sluiced for a couple hours yesterday and came away with 20 specks. My buddy and i are going to spend a couple days on the claim and see what we get after 16 hours of straight sluicing. Will post our outing next month. Stay safe everyone and good luck in the field.

Be safe out there. Outside work's gate is a large back county ski and snowboard area close to a major city. Our semi parking which turns into "recreation" parking has been packed more so than usual. The wife who's a nurse and I have mixed feelings about doing higher risk recreation these days. Her hospital is starting to fill up with COVID patients and coming in needing a ventilator or other major medical attention because you ran out of talent on your snow mobile or ski's is being some what selfish. I know our local 4x4 recovery group has been super busy plucking people out of the mountains and seen a big increase in calls. I'm by no means saying don't go out just go extra prepared and attempt not to higher risk things aka take the easy line instead of the roll over line in your jeep or now probably isn't the time to try and muscle a 2 ton boulder out of the way.

I do take extra care now after a 80lb boulder almost landed on my head last year. The place we prospect on the River is about 200 yards from where we park its all good.
