How fine gold may I ask???
Do you want to process large amounts of dirt?
Does it need to be portable?
do you want a Highbanker dredge combo?
is there any alternative or is the highbanker a personal preference?

Have you looked into the honcoop highbankers?
Get something that is well proved over time I'd suggest.

Like metal detectors it depends on what you are going to be looking for and depends on the area.

I would go for a machine that is going to best suite the type of prospecting your going to be doing for the area.
I like the high banker dredge combo as it allows me to work both bench and small stream dredging. And works well for the mountain terrain I have to work in in Colorado. Also, not all places allow high banking. I would get the equipment that is going to work best for the spot your going to be working most.
