Looks like its for a air hammer? If so they use alot of air! I got lucky at the dump and found an air compressor someone had thrown away because the compressor went bad. I salvaged the tank and hooked it to my compressor and now i have much more pressure in reserve, Good luck- wish i could find ore like yours to crush!

Thanks man! I have half a truck bed to go through. I'll be busy for awhile...

I've got one of those, they are very handy. Make sure to use a heavy duty air hammer. Not light or medium duty.

It works really well. I've learned to just put one piece at a time in the mortar, or maybe an inch of small quartz max. I loaded it up half full once, and it didn't work very well...

I like heavy duty paint shakers for crushing.

I had a old 5 gal paint shaker that i built a couple of heavy 2 gal cans for it

I would put in the rock and a few 1 1/2 inch ball mill balls and start it up.

I had one can that sealed and one can that had 2 pipes that came out of the can and i could put a vacuum cleaner with a adjustable vent on for fine grinding as i fed in small rock.
