If you have a free speech issue, you might be in the wrong country.

You see mercury, like people, can be both an asset and a liability .:laughing7:

How I roast ore. I crush to about 1/4 inch size. place in the furnace for 45 to 60 minutes at about 1100 degrees.
stir or shake pan about every 10 minutes. If you crush down to 1/8, all the better.
Just my 2 cents worth.
