Rose quarts Where abouts was it found?

It was found In kern county the outskirts

But quartz can scratch glass and I tried that test and it didn’t scratch it..so I thought it wasn’t quartz..it resembles Dolomite also

Keep it out of the sunlight, it will lose it's color quick.

Luckily the Trona Gem-O-Ree once a year in October lets you go out and collect a ton of it
