have etrac want 2nd all purpose water proof

need 2nd detector for son and would like to have one that is water proof and good for hunting at local parks 500 to 800 is my price range I have an E trac thinking of ATpro want your guys opinion any others that fit my needs

i think that would be a good pair to have...I use an ATP now but plan on getting an etrac soon....I can tell you, that my buddy that uses an etrac now can find stuff the ATP doesnt pick up, but at the same time, i have went to places we have hunted the hell out of and I still pick out some goodies

You would be better off with a Tiger Shark as the AT Pro could be a waste of money if your beach has more salt concentrations and black sand than most beaches.

I don't know of any beaches near chicago! My atpro has been awesome, lots of finds and no problems.

For waterproof performance, the AT Pro has a lot of bang for the buck. If you do decide to get one, grab one of the spring special packs with both coils while they are still available so you have both the stock and small coils.

ok I will check it out is it good for fresh and salt water I will 99% fresh but would want to take on vacation to saltwater beaches once in a while

Ebay has fisher cz-20's on there right not..They are bullet proof and deep with very good i.d..Just no comparison,you can even scuba dive with a cz-20..
