Nothing like hearing a big Gobbler answering your calls and getting closer....except seeing him strutting and drumming as he inches his way towards what he thinks is a girlfriend.......then BOOM!

I'm getting excited just thinking about it!!!

I'm getting excited just thinking about it!!!

I know lots of others that are getting ready too.
I got both my sons intrested in hunting & fishing when they were young, now they are 'avid outdoorsmen'.
They both fish, but the youngest 'gravitated to turkey hunting' more, & the oldest 'deer hunts & fishes' more.
The younger son took his niece last year on the youth hunt, & she bagged a big Tom, her first.
Myself, due to 'bad ears', am limited to (Armadillo hunting).
But I can still hunt Rocks & Minerals & Treasure.

I love to hunt as well and Turkey hunting has got to be my favorite with deer second. Massachusetts starts April 28, and the birds are showing up all over the place. Good luck to all that will be hunting this spring and lets keep it safe so we don't give any more ammo to the anti's. There's always someone out there that wants to limit what we do and the treasure hunting world is well aware of this growing issue, too.
