I want to start documenting my MD finds on video. I have a decent waterproof, shockproof camera that vids in 720 HD (I think). Any suggestions on a program to use to edit? Like the camera on the detector view...or tripod better? Do you prefer live digs or just the finds?
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I'd like to see the in-between finds like those unidentifiable metal pieces, which are more often found than actual finds. at least it adds some realistic to it. and live digs and before digs, the scout before the beep! Depending on what camera it is your using ... i got a camera/video recorder which i just have to plug in my computer and drag the .MPEG files too, then i convert them to either a better quality or a smaller quality if its being used for youtube. Check out WINAvi All-In-One Converter. That's what i use. Good luck, can't wait to see what you can produce!

I personally do not care much for full live digs. They get kinda of boring.
