Magnet fishing: how to make a magnet fishing rig.

Hi all, I just thought I would make a video showing how I made my magnet fishing rig. I have only been a handful of times but when I have a made a video showing it in action I always get multiple people asking how to make one or where to get one from.

Well all the answers are right here in my video.

    Happy hunting all.

The best magnet to use is neodymium but they are very expensive, the ones I use are 100mm ferrite magnets and each have 64kg pull. They cost me £6 off of eBay and they are available on Amazon as well.

I have several rare earth magnets. Each one will hold over 200 lbs. You can get them for about $30.00 each. I use then on the end of a post hold digger handle as I am out in the water clearing iron. The trick is to roll the magnet off of what its stuck to. Also be careful when walking by your car as it will slam into it and can also break a finger .
Magnet fishing is fun and you never know what you will pull out.

They sound like some extreme magnets haha! Mine are only small in comparison but still have a good bite
