Meteorites in North Idaho?

Has anyone ever heard of Meteorites in North Idaho?

Has anyone ever FOUND one there!?

I heard a 'story', but it seemed so far fetched!

I haven't really heard of any that I can think of. But back in February there was a meteorite strike in southeast washington.

And since 1876, Mammoth bones have been found in North Idaho and the area around Spokane. But no meteorites.

Someone once told me that Hauser lake was created by a meteor strike! I tend to go with the herd on this one - it was accually a result of the glacial movements that once covered the area!

I dunno - I was just curious!
