In the two years I've been detecting, I've only found 6 gold items with my E-Trac. You have to dig your 12/27's, numbers that bounce around in that range, the low 12/02-09's, and low to mid 12/30's to get the bigger gold items. You will dig a lot more pull tabs, beavertails, canslaw and zincolns, but at least you're rewarded with some shiny once in awhile. :thumbsup:

Digging those beaver tails will get old fast but as soon as you
find gold it will be worth the work.
